| I started out in the sprinkler contracting business in 1989 as a
designer. Over the years, I worked my way through the ranks,
half of the time in design and half in sales. Then four and a half
years ago, I joined the Metropolitan Fire Protection team. At
Metropolitan, I get the best of both worlds, because being in
sales means I stay with every job I sell from beginning to end.
I love the challenge of making sure we provide service and
quality all through the project. And that’s where my design
experience really comes in handy. I have immediate knowledge
of what will or won’t work, so I can be proactive, plan ahead,
learn the schedules, make sure we know the codes, and partner
with the cities and towns we work in so we’re sure the job is
done right. At the other end of the job, I have lots of interaction
with inspectors and work closely with them to handle a lot of
the small details faster. The end goal is to assure that everything
we do exceeds expectations. |
